This milestone project introduces revitalized historic spaces, new amenities, and access to the mansion’s second floor for the first time, creating a richer visitor experience. The inaugural season will showcase the Frick’s permanent collection in freshly restored galleries, along with a commissioned series of porcelain flowers by ceramicist Vladimir Kanevsky, honoring the museum’s original opening in 1935. Guests can also look forward to a week of musical programming in a new 220-seat auditorium and the highly anticipated exhibition “Vermeer’s Love Letters,” debuting in June 2025. The New York Times Critics Pick ✨ Marian Goodman Gallery’s Tribeca debut exhibition “Your Patience Is Appreciated: An Inaugural Show," spans three floors of the beautifully renovated Grosvenor Building at 385 Broadway, activating the galleries themselves as well as transitional spaces. Featuring 75 works across a variety of media, with a particular focus on time-based works, this group exhibition showcases the creative affinities of all 50 diverse, multi-generational artists and estates from the Gallery's program. “Walls are white, ceiling beams are black, and unlike some of its Chelsea peers, this is a gallery building that never feels like a spa or corporate headquarters. What it does feel like is the end of an era — and, with any luck, the beginning of a new one.” Read more from Will Heinrich in the New York Times:
