BEFORE // AFTER: For the first time, Pine Ridge Apartments has a standalone clubhouse featuring a leasing office, state-of-the-art fitness center, coffee bar, and a welcoming community lounge perfect for co-working. This amazing space has been a year in the making, thanks to our Pine Ridge team and Construction Managers, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. But we're not stopping here—the finishing touches are being put on our new community pool, which will be ready just in time for the 2025 season! Did you know Pine Ridge was built in 1979 and was one of the first properties Rookwood Properties ever purchased? We’re proud to continue the legacy with these incredible new amenities.

Kiara’s journey from Leasing Consultant to Property Manager is a testament to her positive energy, eagerness to learn, and unwavering dedication to our residents. Her commitment has not gone unnoticed, with residents at our downtown Cincinnati community on top of the Kroger On The Rhine constantly praising her for going above and beyond. Our Development and Project Manager, Christine Valdini shared details on the apartment's unique design features and how this project at our first multifamily community came to life, after the spaces were vacated by two long-time commercial tenants. The National Apartment Association (Naahq)'s UNITS Magazine featured our very own Jackson Baughman, MBA in an article on "Budgeting for Challenging Times in Multifamily." As industry leaders share how they are dealing with inflation and higher interest rates, Jackson provided his insight on the impact on acquisitions, along with the recent increases of insurance, real estate taxes, advertising and concessions, particularly among Class-A properties.

In the last 6 years, our on-site teams and Construction Managers have worked effortlessly to renovate all our apartments, ensuring the attention to detail and luxury aesthetic shine through in every Trademark. Our long-term goal is to ultimately turn all of our apartments across our properties into a Trademark Series apartment. With these Trademark Series, we hope all residents can be proud of their Rookwood Properties home.

To kick off August, this week's #WinOfTheWeek: Palmetto Gardens is 100% occupied! We're thrilled to announce that Palmetto Gardens apartments in Columbia, South Carolina have reached 100% occupancy! This incredible milestone was achieved thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Property Manager, Sonia Durgin. When Sonia joined Palmetto Gardens, we were experiencing a dip in occupancy, but through her leadership and strategic efforts, she has turned it around completely. Her commitment to creating a welcoming and vibrant community has paid off, and we're so proud of the success at Palmetto Gardens. Congratulations to Sonia and the entire team for this fantastic achievement!
