Saint Louis Crisis Nursery CEO Molly Brown, LPC has accepted a position on the Advisory Council of the ‘Save Lives Now!’ (SLN) initiative. SLN is designed to rapidly reduce violent street crime in our region by 20% over three years starting in 2025. SLN coordinates proven anti-violence tactics, technical assistance, and crime data across law enforcement and governmental jurisdictions, neighborhoods, service providers, and residents. Though regional in scope, SLN focuses resources in areas with high violent crime incidents in St. Louis City and County and St. Clair County. Molly said, “At the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, we know the impact violence has on our kids, so it is my honor to be at the table and part of SLN’s important work to stop this problem in our community. A note from one of our amazing volunteers: “I just wanted to send a quick note as I near my 1-year mark of volunteering with the Crisis Nursery. I just wanted to express how much joy it has brought me to serve these children and the staff at the Wentzville Nursery! I do a lot of the Nursery laundry and cleaning, but the time I spend with the kids is wonderful and fills my cup every time! I look forward to continuing to volunteer for the Nursery and wanted to share a picture of the excellent manicure I got from one of the kiddos last night!
