About us
Salvo Health enables providers treating chronic GI and metabolic liver conditions to enable their practices and hospital departments to move from episodic appointments to offering continuous "wraparound care." Salvo lets providers including GI private practices, primary care population health ACOs, and health systems to deliver interdisciplinary follow-on care, while keeping patients under their doctor's supervision. In a coordinated approach, doctors can add a team dedicated to follow-on, personalized care plans for each patient, including registered dietitians, gut health specialized nurses, and behavioral health support. This improves patient outcomes and access, while also generating a new service line of revenue for providers, leveraging remote patient monitoring (RPM) covered by insurance, and building a bridge towards Value Based Care bundled services.

Another great description of #WholeSelfScience with our CEO Jeff Glueck
So honored to sit with Neil D. Parikh MD for the Gut Doctor podcast and talk about Gut Health for the future. Neil is a legendary GI in CT and we discussed how innovative GI practices are augmenting care, both after procedures and between visits, with Salvo Health and our Whole Self Science trademarked approach. https://lnkd.in/erunsYtf

An important question from our CEO Jeff Glueck. What are other health innovators seeing?
I wonder if others working in health innovation are finding this same pattern? At Salvo Health we see over 80% of our enrolled patients for chronic GI and metabolic challenges are women. The article below notes women are taking up offered mental health services more than men, for reasons unclear. But men predominate in suicides, it seems, so this friction, cultural or otherwise, at seeking help can be fatal. Three quarters of patients with gut health conditions show clinical scores for anxiety and depression, so our comprehensive approach includes behavioral health and stress programs, nutrition, sleep, exercise, and microbiome health protocols and support. Among those in the field, why are men so reluctant to ask for or accept help?

Great podcast just out featuring our CEO Jeff Glueck exploring why anyone with a chronic GI or metabolic condition "needs a team."
Was thrilled to discuss #GI_innovation and #ChronicConditionManagement on a recent podcast with Mike Collins of Alumni Ventures. During our conversation, I shared insights on why I founded Salvo Health and our initiatives to support local specialty physicians, particularly GI practices, in bridging the gap in care between office visits. Excited to continue our work in areas such as #IBS, #weightmanagement, #MASH, and #MASLD.

Big news today with Pinnacle GI partnering to bring Salvo programs to patients in Michigan!
Big news as Salvo Health today announced our collaboration with Pinnacle GI Partners and the news hit the wires. It's exciting to partner with innovators such as Partha Nandi MD FACP and Tom Dudley. We've long admired Dr. Nandi the Chief Medical Officer at Pinnacle for his advocacy and patient education beyond just pharmaceuticals and procedures, to "whole patient" health... including nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, microbiome, brain-gut and behavioral health, and environmental/social aspects. Pinnacle is the largest private #gastroenterology practice in Michigan so within weeks Pinnacle patients will be able to enroll in Salvo programs (covered by insurance via RPM CCM) while remaining supervised by their Pinnacle physician. https://lnkd.in/evUBM7Jn #healthcare #innovation #collaboration
