Hope. Care. Cure.
About us
Hope. Care. Cure. These three simple words capture what we are here to do. That’s because at Seattle Children’s, compassionate care, breakthrough research and generous donors come together every day for the children, and the families, who need us. Over a century later, we continue to fight relentlessly to make sure there’s no such thing as “out of options” and to make sure kids who “didn't have a chance” can have the childhoods they deserve. At Seattle Children’s, we’re united by a compelling mission: We provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. #HopeCareCure

Earlier this week, Tokki’s founder, Jane Park, was interviewed by Studio Live 13 to discuss the story behind their SOAR reusable gift bag benefiting Seattle Children's. 100% of proceeds from all SOAR bag purchases will go toward supporting care and research on DIPG, a rare and aggressive cancer. We’re so thankful for Tokki and Jane -- their support during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and passion for our mission is creating real change. https://lnkd.in/gE_i8KmA

Join Seattle Children’s patient ambassador Hudson in person or virtually on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 12 to 4 p.m. for Seattle Extra Life’s ‘Game On’ event! Register today at https://bit.ly/4dxxpek or tune in at https://lnkd.in/gUtmVzEJ. Born with a rare form of muscular dystrophy (MD) known to affect heart function, Hudson was 9 years old when his cardiac symptoms began suddenly – first affecting his ability to walk and later causing severe stomach pain, dizzy spells, vomiting and even hallucinations. Seattle Children’s cardiology team determined Hudson was in heart failure. “When they said those two words, heart failure, it just blew us away,” KaLinda, Hudson’s mom, said. Under the care of a cardiology team in Seattle Children’s Heart Center, where patients are cared for by the most experienced pediatric cardiologists and heart surgeons in the Northwest, Hudson received life-changing care and a new chance at life. Today, Hudson is walking, swimming and hopes to become a pro gamer one day.
