In 2024 we partnered with Blue Peter to launch The Earthshot competition, inviting children aged 5 – 15 to come up with an idea to help save the planet. It is critical that young people are engaged in protecting and repairing our planet, and with Blue Peter we were able to reach children across Britain and celebrate their ingenuity. Today our 5 winners are announced and celebrated on a special episode of Blue Peter. The winners – Annie, Marni, Mia, Llewyn and Ruby – presented their ideas to Prince William as well as at Speaker's House in the House of Commons in front of members of a cross-party Environmental Committee. Blue Peter received almost 2,000 entries from all over the UK, and we are excited to be empowering the innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders of tomorrow with the knowledge that they can make a different for the earth. You can watch the full episode now on BBC iPlayer.
