Two SECURA's leaders, Lisa S., Senior Sales Manager, and Angela K., Manager–Agent Education, recently attended the Women Leaders in Insurance conference in Kentucky. Angela contributed to the event by teaching an hour-long continuing education session. The day was packed with dynamic discussions and valuable networking opportunities. We're proud to see our SECURA leaders sharing their expertise and advancing the insurance industry. Such events highlight the critical roles of diversity, leadership, and innovation. Last week, we had the pleasure of partnering with Fox Valley Technical College to host Camp L.E.T.T.I.E. (Latina Empowered Through Transformative Ideas in Education) for an unforgettable afternoon! The students had a blast learning about SECURA, exploring our building and enjoying some fun-filled games. One highlight was hearing from SECURA associates, Karla C., Nancy V., and Toni H., who shared their inspiring career journeys. We hope the students had an amazing time and left with valuable insights about our organization. We're looking forward to more empowering events like this!

There's nothing like a bit of friendly competition to raise funds for a great cause! Last week we held our annual kickball tournament. All teams who participated made donations to our ongoing United Way Fox Cities fundraiser. We’re already counting down until next year’s tournament! #MakingInsuranceGenuine #UnitedWay

Recently, we had the pleasure of partnering with Pointters Community Initiatives Manager in Training (MiT) program to host two bright students from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for an on-site career shadow experience! Our guests had the opportunity to immerse themselves in different departments, learning firsthand from our amazing leaders. From attending meetings and participating in one-on-ones to engaging in virtual chats with our remote team, they got a comprehensive glimpse into the dynamic world of our organization. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, and we're excited to see where their careers take them next!

Last week, we welcomed 65 interns, summer helpers, and youth apprentices for our Super QuickStart event. Super QuickStart is a condensed version of our traditional two-day orientation that is specifically designed for interns. During the one-day session, interns were able to get to know each other through various games and team-building exercises, hear from former interns who became full-time associates, and learn more about SECURA’s culture and what opportunities are available to them.

Our commitment to making insurance genuine is only possible through our partnerships with our valued independent agents. This month, we are celebrating milestone anniversaries with some of our valued agency partners. We look forward to many more years of working together!
