On Wednesday, October 23rd, the team of Kyle Perry, McKenna Maciag, and Madalyn VanLandeghem spent the day at the Michigan SHRM conference at the DeVos Center in Grand Rapids. In the first portion of the conference, the team competed in the HR Games which consisted of four rounds of jeopardy-style HR trivia. The GVSU Seidman team went head-to-head against undergraduate and graduate-level teams from Central Michigan University, Western Michigan University, and Eastern Michigan University. After several close rounds, the Seidman team eventually took first place in the competition. After the HR Games concluded, Kyle, McKenna and Madalyn spent the rest of the day enjoying keynote presentations and networking in the exhibit hall. "The annual HR Games are a great opportunity for students to test their knowledge of the HR profession and engage in a friendly competition against other schools. We were also able to network with other professionals during the conference and gain more exposure in the Michigan HR community," shared Kyle. Congratulations Kyle, McKenna, and Madalyn for representing Seidman College well! hashtag #experienceseidman #gvsu
