Highlights from NYC Climate Week!🗽🌎 Deputy Director Stephen Miller was thrilled to represent SEI – speaking at three climate events and attending a host of others – bringing education and workforce to the forefront of conversations. "Climate Week NY was quite a whirlwind of sessions, people, and experiences," Miller said, sharing that he felt energized and empowered by the people he met. As SEI continues to grow in New York – with the The State University of New YorkCommunity of Practice and with Climate Corps Fellow placements – we are honored to be a part of this climate community. #seisustainability #ClimateWeekNYC

The 2024 People and Planet Challenge is an exciting opportunity for middle and high school students to inspire sustainable change in their community.🌟 Last year, students at Summit Shasta set out to reduce their school's waste. They conducted a multi-day audit of everything thrown in the trash, determining what could be composted or recycled instead. ♻️ Their resulting educational campaign was a winner of the 2023 People and Planet Challenge! Will your school be the 2024 winner? 🙌 Register for the challenge: https://ow.ly/moU550TbHFY
