Kaila Kiefer was one of 17 Climate Corps Fellows to receive their UC Climate Stewards Certification in July, completing the robust course in climate communication.🪻🌎 Before taking the course, "I was a person set on educating others on the facts [of climate change]," Kiefer said. Now, "I'm a person who seeks to listen and understand first, then educate if the other party is open to it." Kiefer is using her #ClimateSteward skillset every day. "As a Decarbonization Programs Fellow at Silicon Valley Clean Energy, I often engage with the community," Kiefer said. "This class prepared me to be an active listener and to meet others where they are in their views on climate change." We're excited to be offering the UC Climate Stewards course to 32 Fellows in October! 🌟 #ClimateCorps #seisustainability #climateleader
