SFJAZZ is one of the world’s most popular and important presenters of jazz. The SFJAZZ Center is a beautiful and perfect stage for jazz artists and the community to celebrate the living American art form of jazz. The $64 million dollar Center launched in 2013 and the 32 year old non-profit organization now crafts distinguished Programming and Education services from the heart of the San Francisco arts district.

    The Wolf Bros, founded by Bob Weir and Don Was, along with the Wolfpack are performing a series of concerts with the nation’s top symphony orchestras this November, playing Grateful Dead hits arranged by Stanford composer Giancarlo Aquilanti Don't miss Wolf Bros' bassist and Blue Note Records President Don Was at SFJAZZ this Thursday and Friday (Sep 26-27), performing with his new group The Pan-Detroit Ensemble, celebrating jazz, rock, and soul from the Motor City. The Afro Latinx Concert Series Festival is a vibrant celebration of Afro-Latinx culture and music during Latino Heritage Month, with live performances by Chuchito Valdés, La Dame Blanche, Oscar Ly and Rumbalu, and DJ Leydis.     Last night master DJ and multi-media artist Kid Koala kicked-off his 10 show doubled feature at the SFJAZZ Center with a live adaptation of his graphic novel Nufonia Must Die mixing Puppet Theater, video, a string quartet and electronic instruments. Kid Koala continues performances of Nufonia Must Die TONIGHT-Sunday (Aug 2-4) and The Storyville Mosquito next week (Aug 8-11) at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco. These groundbreaking performances should not be missed! About Nufonia Must Die: She’s a lonely office girl. He’s an out-of-work robot struggling to find his voice amidst the noise of the city.
