SHEIN believes every individual deserves to access their full potential. Through our equitable empowerment commitment, we aim to provide opportunities and resources for communities to thrive. Collaborating with organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America is one way we can create positive impact in the communities we operate in. In our first year of partnership, we’ve identified Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside to connect SHEIN U.S. employees directly to BGCA's mission and offer exposure to an IRL workplace experience for Club youth. A great example of this is a recent initiative at our SHEIN Summer Picnic. SHEINers were joined by teens from the Club, as they took part in the company team building activities aimed at cultivating values of camaraderie and togetherness. In return, the teens invited everyone to partake in their Kindness Pledge and hosted a complete booth activation made up with arts and crafts, games, and volunteer opportunities...for a mutually enriching experience! 💙 We're grateful to support Boys & Girls Clubs to create opportunities for young people to be successful in their futures. #equitableempowerment #kindnessisfree #greatfutures

🌞 Summer has officially arrived which means it’s time for the SHEIN Annual Picnic! Last week, SHEIN team members from offices across the U.S. came together to take part in a fun-filled company event at Santa Anita Park. The SHEIN Rodeo was a day full of activities (including painting lessons and Wanderlust Creamery treats!) along with a special track tour from 30-year professional jockey veteran Iggy Puglisi. Most importantly, it was a chance for over 300 SHEINers to come together and make meaningful connections. Thanks to everyone who made this event a success!

SHEIN was back for a second year at Collision Conf, dubbed one of the "fastest-growing tech conferences" gathering Fortune 500 companies, groundbreaking startups and leaders from around the world. SHEIN’s Peter Pernot-Day was interviewed on center stage by Steve Clemons, in a discussion on "The Next Normal - The Future of Shopping.” Peter outlined the trends driving fashion brands currently and SHEIN’s continued focus on affordability and accessibility for a wide range of customers. 👉 Did you know about the impact of a digitalized supply chain? SHEIN's automated process ensures our third-party supplier partners only make what customers want by tracking trends and sales to accurately forecast and match demand. This means much more affordable prices for customers —and less waste. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g3r_Pn3M #CollisionConf

“Working with deadstock fabrics is fairly new to me but I do feel like this is the way the fashion industry is going and this is the future.” – Christian Caldwell, founder and designer of Christian Allana, a contemporary womenswear brand based in Atlanta, Georgia. We love to highlight the local artists and brands behind our SHEIN X designer incubator program. Christian was one of six designers that recently launched collections made from rescued fabrics as part of SHEIN’s partnership with Queen of Raw, to pave the way for a more circular fashion future with a lower environmental impact. 💫 Check out Christian’s recent interview with local NPR station WABE in Atlanta as she discusses her design process and her favorite pieces from the new SHEIN X Rescued collection with Summer Evans: https://lnkd.in/gUxtpSVs

Last week's CommerceNext Conference in New York City was a great success with SHEIN’s Peter Pernot-Day joining Oliver Chen, CFA on stage to discuss SHEIN’s on-demand business model and continued investment in the U.S. They spoke about how customer preferences are a core component of SHEIN’s supply chain, which directly addresses the common mismatch between customer demand and merchandise supply. This includes testing new products by launching them in small initial batches, evaluating customer feedback in real time, and restocking products that are in demand. Ultimately, this leads to more affordable prices for SHEIN's customers. To learn more about SHEIN’s business model, visit: https://lnkd.in/g3r_Pn3M
Strong end to CommerceNext with some hot sessions: 1/Denise Incandela (Walmart) discussing Walmart's fashion strategy, 2/ panel on tech investments with Sree Sreedhararaj (IPSY), Lynda Pak (The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.), Michelle Pacynski (Ulta Beauty) and Zia Daniell Wigder (EMARKETER), 3/ Sherry Shi (TikTok) on TikTok Shops and 4/ final keynote on SHEIN's disruptive business model with Peter Pernot-Day (SHEIN) and Oliver Chen, CFA (Cowen Inc.). Until next year! #cn2024

We love seeing Tampa-based fashion designer De Johnea Thorpe in the headlines! She spoke with Tampa Bay Business Journal about unveiling her seventh collection with the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program and the benefits she has seen for her business. ✨ "Being an independent designer has so many challenges, and producing garments can be quite costly. This program is a beautiful process because it gives you a lot of control," says Thorpe. She reflected on her younger years when her mom bought her a sewing kit, "I would make little pieces and try to sell them to my friends, and I would go to thrift stores and buy wedding gowns and try to make them into something." ✨ To read the full story, visit: https://bizj.us/1qldp6
