What is this picture and how is it helping with the operation of energy infrastructure, such as gas turbines? 🤔 Additive manufacturing, the industrial equivalent of 3D printing, allows for precise component production, which can be very beneficial when navigating the complex challenges of the global supply chain. When we faced a shortage of honeycomb seals for gas turbines (picture clue right here!) due to supply chain disruptions, our Additive Manufacturing team got to work and quickly re-produced the necessary parts in-house, keeping turbines running and energy flowing!
Lithium is one key element for the energy transition - it is crucial to nearly every battery, whether it’s cars, phones or energy storage. AGIRA is supporting a Direct Lithium Extraction method drastically reducing environmental impact in Argentina, as well as production times, in comparison to conventional mining. We are proud to be part of this project and help with the extraction process through our compressor technology.
The clock is ticking. 🕐 The first month of 2025 is nearly over and preparations for COP30 advance. Expectations are also growing for the climate commitments on each country to be revised and ambitious targets regarding climate change mitigation to be set, so that all nations involved can make concrete progress in tackling the climate crisis.
