Skylark Labs and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) have achieved a major breakthrough with their AI-driven Accident Hotspot Detection System, which provides real-time alerts 500 meters ahead of potential danger zones. Amarjot Singh, PhD Singh, CEO of Skylark Labs, shares the vision: "Our Accident Hotspot Detection System is more than just a technological innovation; it's a life-saving tool that equips drivers with the information they need to avoid accidents using AI technology that adapts to changing road conditions and driver behaviour in real-time. Looking ahead, we envision bringing new safety technology to every car in the world." Praveen Bhatt, Senior VP - Infotainment, UI, and Interior Sensing at MBRDI, emphasizes: "By integrating advanced sensing and predictive technologies, we are redefining the relationship between the driver, vehicle, and road safety. We had a great time at TIDE 2024, where we showcased our cutting-edge counter-UAS software, powered by our multi-sensor AI brain. This advanced system integrates radar, lidar, and camera feeds across multiple towers, each featuring a flexible base and head design. The AI brain coordinates these towers, allowing for rapid deployment and optimal positioning on various infrastructures. By fusing data from radar, lidar, and cameras, our system delivers real-time, highly accurate detection and tracking of aerial threats. This multi-sensor approach ensures comprehensive airspace security, adapting seamlessly to different environments. We're excited to continue demonstrating this innovative technology to key stakeholders within the Office of the Secretary of Defense, anticipating further collaboration and opportunities.
