Vision-based systems often leave critical gaps. We fill them by offering high-granularity coverage, detecting airborne threats within minutes to reduce emissions and support rapid response. Our early supporter Eni has validated our platform's ability to detect methane leaks and early wildfire emissions with precision and speed, essential for high-risk industrial environments. Excited to share that I’ve just completed my first Loom video (such a great platform!) for SLY's participation in the official Slush100 pitching competition! We’re thrilled to have made it to the #Top50 out of 962 applicants this year. Hope we make it to the #Top20 and I'll share my video on this platform as well - wish us luck!

In our journey towards the #energytransition, technology is our most powerful lever. However, we need to shift our perspective, seeing it not only as an ally for the future but also as a solution for today. This means making our current infrastructures more efficient and optimised, while simultaneously planning for new ones.   #Research is the seed of every evolution.   The #EniAward is our way of celebrating innovation, recognising those who dedicate themselves daily to finding solutions that drive our sector forward.   But it’s also our way of restoring research to its rightful role. Research is not an island; it requires continuous support through investments in industrial processes. It must be an integral part of the value chain.   At Eni, we’ve turned research into tangible results by creating startups and building commercial networks. Our proprietary technologies are a testament to the power of sustained research and development.   If we neglect the industrial application of research, we risk losing competitiveness, limiting our potential for growth and progress in the future.   To the winners, once again, my heartfelt congratulations, along with our promise of continued efforts to ensure research accompanies our evolution, every step of the way.  

Honoured to receive the 2024 Eni Joule for Entrepreneurship award at the beautiful Quirinale Palace in Rome, presented to the SLY team by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
