🎉 Canopie closed our latest round, totaling $3.7 million in seed funding to expand access to critical services for the thousands of expecting mothers we reach every year! 🎉 Our round was co-led by Beta Boom and Aeroflow Health and includes Sorenson Impact, Luminary Impact Fund, Symphonic Capital, Techstars, and a family office supporting the expansion of mental health care through technology. These investors are mission-aligned while bringing critical operational, growth, and sector expertise to Canopie, focusing on maternal health, mental health, SaaS, and social impact. We are looking forward to using these resources to expand personalized, virtual mental health care covered by insurance and bolstering our solution to address social drivers of health (SDoH) for moms across all levels of risk in the United States. Preventive care is the best medicine for expecting mothers, and we are honored to contribute to that effort with our incredible partners. Our team couldn't be more excited to continue our mission of improving maternal health outcomes and, importantly, bringing joy to motherhood. More exciting updates are on the way – stay tuned!🌟 Link to our full press release here 👉 https://lnkd.in/ePi9NupS Anne Wanlund Scott Sonnone Casey Hite Sergio Paluch Kimmy Paluch Eliza Golden Roady Sydney Paige Thomas Shruti Shah Marci Spector Louise Langheier Martin Schneider KJ Singh Geoff Davis Carl Adams Amanda Minimi

Join us in welcoming the 2024-25 Impact Investing Apprenticeship Program cohort! These 25 students come from an array of backgrounds and represent 11 schools from across the country. 🎉 For the first time, we partnered with Miami Dade College and Bowie State University, inviting three students from each school to join this year’s student cohort at the University of Utah. With this partnership, we aim to increase exposure and access to careers in impact investing that have not traditionally been accessible. Throughout the program, we will provide hands-on training and real-world experience to students from all backgrounds so that we can help build a diverse talent pipeline for the sector. We’re thrilled to have these students as part of this year’s cohort! This year, we also introduced the alumni network initiative, a new opportunity to connect students and alumni of the program. Check out photos from the event below and learn more about the impact investing internship program and how it prepares students for impactful careers here:

Our friends at Sorenson Impact recently published this article on the panel discussion I had with Ashley Bittner, Regina "Gina" Kline, and Kristina Rodriguez Maljovec in June. We explored how domain expertise drives our investment strategies and enhances our impact, whether it’s in financial resilience, economic mobility, or closing the disability wealth gap. We strongly believe that focused, thematic investing can create powerful results for both investors and communities. #startups #VentureCapital #Fintech #FinancialResilience
