South Carolina First Steps is hiring a Fiscal Manager for our 46 nonprofit Local Partnerships. Apply here ➡ https://bit.ly/4e817HE The Local Partnership Fiscal Manager: 💡Manages the fiscal support function for Local Partnerships (LPs) for SC First Steps, supervising a team of two staff members responsible for financial activities. Oversees budget loading, financial reporting, and provides guidance on budget development and projections. 💡 Serves as the overall administrator and project manager for the Blackbaud accounting system, ensuring budgets are accurately loaded, reports are run, and systems are kept up to date with fiscal year information. 💡 Consistently coaches, trains, and mentors staff and LPs on new systems, processes, and procedures. Takes primary responsibility for financial training and provides on-site support to resolve fiscal issues and ensure compliance with policies. 💡 Ensures all county budget reallocations are processed in a timely manner and that reporting meets the needs of local partnerships, the state office, and other stakeholders. Conducts on-site visits to vendors to ensure compliance with fiscal procedures, contracts, and grant requirements.

The Director of Finance will provide: 💹 Financial Oversight & Compliance: Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash management, accounting, compliance monitoring, and internal/external reporting of the Agency's grant awards and expenditures. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local, and private grants, leading corrective actions for any non-compliance. 💹 Collaboration & Support: Works closely with the CFO, Director of Grantmaking and Development, program staff, and local partnerships. Supports agency reporting, accounting, and participates in meetings related to grants and programs. 💹 Grant Management: Monitors grant fund usage, ensuring timely and appropriate spending.
