    And that's a wrap on our first Ingredient Sales Industry Survey! 🎉 (Get a sneak peek at a couple of our findings here...) We've just closed the doors on the first-ever Ingredient Sales Industry Survey ... and WOW are we excited to package these industry insights together for our industry contacts! Here's an insider look at just a couple of our key findings: 📊 - 42% of respondents said it takes a new sales rep 6-12 months to close their first deal. 📊 - 42% reported that the typical sales cycle lasts 6-12 months, while 39% noted it extends to 12-18 months. These results certainly do not surprise us. They're consistent with what we hear from ingredient sales reps we work with. Which is that: - Selling science-backed ingredients is TOUGH. - It's a technical sale. - With long sales cycles. - That require a ton of persistent outreach. - And with limited opportunities that shake out over time. This is why, at Step Change Innovations, we've developed our Ingredient Magnify program.
