As usual, we chose two pieces of news in the space to dive into (link in comments) 1️⃣ 🇸🇬 Wellington Management Treasury Fund Tokenizes on Libeara The Delta Wellington Ultra Short Treasury On-Chain Fund (“ULTRA Fund”) will be first available on Ethereum via Standard Chartered's platform, with expansion plans for The Arbitrum Foundation, Avalanche, and Solana Foundation. This fund already has interest from potential allocators and partners. Dive into details in the newsletter (link in comments)! 🇪🇸 Pilot: Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria’s Fixed-Income Fund Tokenized on Allfunds Shifting from Singapore and on over to Spain, we just learned about BBVA Asset Management en España’s latest onchain activity. They will be issuing their “BBVA Token Renta Fija Corto Plazo” fund within a Spanish sandbox. The name translates to mean it’s a fixed-income, short-term fund, which will be tokenized on Allfunds’ private Ethereum-based blockchain. Only BBVA employees will be able to invest which I consider quite the perk - imagine first dibs on something your employer is working on! As usual, we chose two pieces of news in the space to dive into (link in comments) 1️⃣ 💰 Blockstream to Expand Upon $210M Convertible Note Financing Led by Fulgur Ventures, with this new financing we expect to see even more issuances on Liquid Network, potentially seeing the L2 integrate into additional marketplaces, and of course see their bitcoin treasury grow from its current 3,844 BTC locked on-chain. 🤫 Hashnote’s USYC Comes to Canton Network for Privacy This would help keep trading activity somewhat confidential and giving the asset utility while still reducing counterparty and settlement risk. Because of Canton’s connectivity and the asset’s composability, other partners in the Network will be able to add in their own utility and this ultimately serves the investor.
