🎬 Innovative use of stYpe Follower in bringing Fallout’s post-apocalyptic world to life! 🎬 We’re excited to share our incredible journey working on the Fallout series, a project that pushed the boundaries of virtual production! Fuse Technical Group and All of it Now team carefully chose our stYpe tracking systems, #Follower and #RedSpy, to transform their vision into reality. Key highlights: 🔍 Dynamic LED Environment: Follower expertly tracked floating LED walls, ceiling, and floor, allowing real-time synchronization of virtual scenes with physical positions. 👁️🗨️ Precision Camera Tracking: Our RedSpy ensured flawless tracking, including the use of a celluloid film camera, capturing every detail with unmatched accuracy ⭐ Cutting-Edge Setup: With a 24K resolution LED volume and six movable LED carts, our systems enabled seamless content display across the entire setup. ⚙ Comprehensive Integration: We deployed 3 RedSpy units, 16 Follower witness cameras, and 12 Follower LED receivers, ensuring a perfectly integrated and immersive visual experience. As the world of technology is always changing, I have a massive interest in the virtual production space. This will be the first post of many talking about the virtual production industry as a whole. First let's get an idea of just how large this market is with major growth potential. With a CAGR of 18.6%, it's expected to reach USD 5.48 billion by 2030*. Asia Pacific is leading the charge, with a CAGR of 21.5%. India is expected to experience the fastest growth, thanks to the increasing demand for original OTT streaming content. Software is the largest segment, accounting for 41.8% of revenue. This is due to the rising demand for visual effects and computer-generated graphics in movies and commercial advertisements. Some notable companies in the market are Adobe, Autodesk, Epic Games, stYpe, Vu Technologies, Mo-Sys Engineering Ltd, NVIDIA, Sony, Disguise and ROE Visual. There are so many more companies that I would need an entire post just to cover them! These companies all have an important part to play in the process of creating content within a virtual production setting. This includes tasks such as building stages, designing virtual worlds, cameras, LED panels and editing footage. My goal with these posts is to increase awareness of the technology, making it more accessible and recognized beyond just the film and TV industry.
