Providing safe, reliable, energy-efficient natural gas to our customers in Missouri
About us
Summit Natural Gas delivers safe, efficient, clean and affordable natural gas to residential and commercial customers throughout the state of Missouri Our parent company, Summit Utilities, Inc., was founded in 1997 by two entrepreneurially-minded executives that recognized a need to deliver a more cost-effective and environmentally-sustainable fuel option to residences and businesses in rural areas where other utilities could not or would not serve with natural gas. While the company started in Colorado, it has since grown to provide safe, clean and affordable natural gas to businesses and residents in five states through Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Colorado Natural Gas, Summit Natural Gas of Maine, and Arkansas Oklahoma Gas Corporation. Our mission is to deliver clean, safe, affordable, and reliable energy solutions to our customers every day through exceptional service and a strong commitment to our communities. Overall, Summit entities serve approximately 100,000 customers and operate more than 5,400 miles of pipeline in Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Missouri and Oklahoma. Being part of the Summit team means embracing excellence, diversity and innovation, committing to safety each and every day, and doing all that we can to serve each other, our customers and the communities where we live. Reminder: If you plan on doing any outdoor projects where you'll be digging in your yard, you must call 811 before you dig. 📲☎️ Calling 811 is an easy and free way to find out where underground utility lines are buried. Digging without calling 811 is against the law and adds the risk of potentially hitting lines, which can cost you time and money...and puts your safety at risk! #CallBeforeYouDig #Call811

Happy 811 Day! August 11 (8/11) is a great reminder to always call 811 before you dig. Plus, it's a great opportunity for a fun and educational challenge! Do you know your flag tags? Each color flag represents a different type of underground utility: 🔴 Red: Electric power lines, cables, conduit, and lighting cables 🟡 Yellow: Gas, oil, steam, petroleum, or gaseous materials 🟠 Orange: Communication, alarm or signal lines, cables, or conduit 🔵 Blue: Potable water 🟢 Green: Sewers and drain lines 🟣 Purple: Reclaimed water, irrigation, and slurry lines ⚪ White: Proposed excavation sites (always "white line" where you plan to dig!" 🔴 Pink: Temporary survey markings
