Finally putting some thoughts down from this year's #hrtech. Incredible to be able to represent Sworkit Health and for the first time in a couple years actually walk the expo hall. I loved the energy. To see established firms continue to harp on innovation in the same room as true start ups and carve outs gave me a ton of hope that we're on a better path towards creating value for our employees. Here are some very basic thoughts, I was solo so had plenty of time for deep ones as you'll see :) - Enough people said it, so maybe I am still growing... and getting grayer. - It's still about the people. It seems like the names are the same yet the "jerseys" swap. I was fortunate to see some of my old teammates and even ideate with people who were previous competitors. - This year seemed like the true coming out party for Rewards and Recognition. Blessed to be partners with Awardco. Paige and crew crushed their booth. - I took a photo of where the new A's stadium "should" be going. I know LV will do a fine job with a team there but the people of Oakland got robbed! (Go Philadelphia Phillies btw) - I walked by this hat store so many times that even the most obscure pieces started to make sense towards the end. I did not buy one! - I was 2 for 2 on standbys getting home to avoid getting stuck from the hurricane. Lottery tickets to come. - Ecosystem's seem to still be the hot topic, but that doesn't seem to mean they're getting stronger. It was fun to chat with peers whose methodologies range from "stock the shelves" to "few but strong" when it comes to partnerships. -JohnnyRockets Chile (I could only find the Chile one?) lives! So much nostalgia. My hope is next year I'll be bringing some more folks from my team and continue to expand our presence in the employer and partner space. Thanks to everyone who made the time to catch up!
