A global network developing collective leadership to ensure all children can fulfill their potential.

About us

Teach For All (www.teachforall.org) supports and connects a global network of independent organizations working around the world to ensure that every child has access to an equitable and excellent education. Each organization in the network, conceived and launched by a local entrepreneur, enlists its nation’s most promising leaders to teach in high-need areas for two years, and, in the long-term, drive systemic changes from within and outside of the education sector. Teach For All is catalyzing an international movement to expand educational opportunity. At the center of this network, Teach For All plays a unique role: it helps local organizations overcome common challenges by providing direct support services and serving as a hub for the exchange of best practices. In addition to delivering support to local organizations, Teach For All maximizes local impact on educational need by directly connecting the teaching participants and alumni of its international network programs through conferences and online forums.

Educators who lead #climateeducation efforts often feel like they're on a solo journey, facing the immense challenge of inspiring change in their classrooms and beyond. But what if they didn't have to go it alone? 🌍 In July, we brought together passionate educators from our network and staff from across Europe for the Climate Education Action Summit in #Rome. This summit was a space to connect, learn, and take action—helping climate educators find their community, share their WHY for climate education, and brainstorm practical ways to embed climate action into their organizations. 🌱 Watch the video to hear their insights and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more stories of climate leadership: https://lnkd.in/eXnhyrpQ

"We're witnessing visible evidence of Gen Z’s commitment to tackling systemic inequity and putting their skin in the game to work towards a just and sustainable future. During this week of #YouthDay, which celebrates the potential of youth as partners in today’s global society, it is imperative to consider how to support and encourage this rising generation’s commitment to shape a better world. I've come to believe that one of our biggest societal priorities should be to evolve the norms and realities that drive early job choices." Read our CEO's new piece in Diplomatic Courier 👇

I’m inspired by the rising generation of young people, who are more committed to equity, justice, and sustainability than any that has come before. We need their energy and leadership to put the world on a different trajectory! Yet I’ve come to think that harnessing their potential is going to require a major shift in the norms and realities that drive early job choices.   Realizing this shift should be a big priority and will take all of us, from Higher Ed to the social sector to parents and influencers.   Please read my piece below and share your thoughts in the comments. https://lnkd.in/ecWFtdz6

Meet 👉 Sanaya Bharucha: Global Head of Student Leadership & Voice at Teach For All Q: Can you tell us about your role as Global Head of Student Leadership & Voice at Teach For All? There are three major parts to my work: 1️⃣ Amplifying student voices: I lead the Student Leader Advisory Council to ensure students have a say in shaping Teach For All´s strategy and projects, like our teaching and learning frameworks. 2️⃣ Supporting the empowerment of student leaders: I work with network organizations to help students become impactful leaders and advocates through our Student Voice Accelerator program 3️⃣ Engaging in global dialogues: I support students in participating in global discussions and decision-making platforms focused on education and equity—spaces where their voices have traditionally been underrepresented. Our students have been involved in significant forums like the United Nations General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council Youth Forum, where they can share their insights and experiences on a global stage. Q: Why focus on Student Leadership? I deeply believe that those who have themselves experienced the inequities we are working to address should guide and lead this work. Our students experience the inequities and injustices of our systems every day, and are uniquely positioned to be our partners and guides in our shared quest to create a better future for all. Knowing that our students are capable leaders and changemakers, not just in the distant future, but today, we are committed to working in partnership with our students so they can realize their fullest individual and collective potential. Q: What is one of the key projects you are working on? 215 students. 100 educators. 15 countries. 5 languages. We just wrapped up another cohort of the Student Voice Accelerator (SVA)! The SVA is one of my main focus areas through which we support organizations to develop their students into impactful leaders & advocates for change. It was initially co-created with over 35 students, teachers, experts, partners, and staff members. There was 96% attendance with 98% who ‘Loved’ being a part of the SVA. Our focus is now on how we can scale the program and its impact exponentially. Q: What have you learned about student leadership that you think is important to share with others? For over a decade I have been practicing, studying, and learning about youth-adult partnerships as a key aspect of student leadership, and have found that organizations that have the most impact do these four things: 👉 They don’t just run programs for students, but run them with students 👉 They don’t just grow students as leaders of tomorrow, but treat them as leaders today 👉 They don’t just spread their students’ perspectives, but create platforms for students to narrate their own unique journeys 👉 They don’t just involve students, but make sure they have well-defined and important roles to play
