You don’t need to design a new resume for every role. Instead, automate it. Here’s how. 👇 Common mistakes I see from designers: ❌ Using the same resume for every role. ❌ Manually redesigning a new one in Figma each time. A tailored resume = more interviews. But if you’re just “eyeballing” job descriptions and tweaking your resume manually, it’s a lot of effort. That’s where Teal comes in. Here’s how to do it: 👇 ✅ Start with a base resume that captures all your key accomplishments (verb → action → results). ✅ Use the Teal Chrome plugin to import a job description. ✅ Then let Teal scan the keywords, give real time feedback, and generate multiple versions of your resume for every role you apply to. Applying for 30 different roles? Then quickly generate 30 tailored resumes. It’s crazy to me thinking I used to do this manually… or didn’t do it all. You can try it out here: creatormatch.co/teal-mc-3 What’s your approach to customizing your resume? 👀 #ux #design #resume #TealPartner #userexperience

How many bullet points should your resume have? If you’re guessing, read this. Your resume isn’t a list of everything you’ve ever done, it’s a strategic snapshot of your impact. Here’s the sweet spot: ✅ 10-15 bullet points total (concise & effective) ✅ 3-5 for your most recent role (it’s the first thing people read—make it count!) ✅ 2-3 for previous roles (enough to show growth, not overwhelm) Too few? You’re selling yourself short. Too many? You’re making recruiters work too hard. The key is balance: clear, concise, and compelling. Need help fine-tuning your resume? Teal’s AI Resume Builder formats and refines your bullet points so your resume is concise, yet impactful, and totally recruiter-ready. Try it here: https://lnkd.in/eFF5dtd3 How many bullet points does your resume have on it? You can be honest with me, I'll only judge a little haha joking joking

Product Manager | Agile, Roadmaps, Go-to-Market, MVP | I help teams drive $100K+ revenue with data-driven strategies, user insights, and cross-functional leadership

I’m graduating in less than 60 days, and here’s my job search strategy. (This has landed me 10+ interviews in the last two months) Not gatekeeping. 1. Optimized my LinkedIn with all the right keywords. → Recruiters and hiring managers started reaching out to me. 2. Sent 50+ connection requests weekly (but not blank ones). → I personalize them - why I want to connect (without asking for a referral). 3. Created a master resume and tweak it for every job I apply to. → Tools I use: Teal or Jobscan 4. Reached out to current connections (strategically, not all at once). → I learn from them while also finding ways to help. 5. Applied only to jobs posted within 48 hours. 6. Used a dual approach: → Apply with a referral if possible. → If cold applying, I immediately find and email the hiring manager or recruiter. 7. Always include a cover letter or video introduction. 8. Kept my LinkedIn profile active. → Commenting and posting regularly keeps me visible. This approach has worked for me - hope it helps you too! P.S. Which of these steps do you already do? Comment below.

Are you keeping track of every job you apply to? If not, here’s the system you need. A scattered job search leads to missed opportunities.  You forget to follow up, lose track of deadlines, and end up wondering, “Wait… did I already apply here?” Here’s the 5 stage system that keeps everything organized: ✅ Bookmark – Save jobs that catch your eye 📌 Applying – Prioritize the ones you’re serious about 📤 Applied – Track where you’ve applied & set follow-up reminders 🎤 Interviewing – Stay on top of when your next interview is 💰 Negotiating – Manage your offers and make confident decisions This method ensures you never miss a follow-up, duplicate an application, or let a great opportunity slip through the cracks. With Teal’s free job tracker, you can stay organized, follow up at the right time, and take control of your job search—without the stress. Get started for free: https://lnkd.in/efaDY3H5 What stage do you think is the hardest to keep track of in the job search? Let me know how you keep track of it (genuinely curious!)

3 ways to use ChatGPT to instantly improve your resume 👀 Writing your resume can feel overwhelming, but AI can make the process faster and easier, without sacrificing quality. Here are 3 simple ways to use ChatGPT to improve your resume and cover letter: 🔹 Professional Summary How to do it: 1️⃣ Copy/paste your resume (from the Teal Resume Builder or an existing resume) into ChatGPT. 2️⃣ Use this prompt: "Write a professional summary based on my resume and keep it under 100 words." 3️⃣ Copy/paste the output back into your resume and adjust as needed. 🔹 Resume Bullet Point Achievements How to do it: 1️⃣ Copy/paste the responsibilities section of a job description from your job tracker. 2️⃣ Use this prompt: "Write 5 resume achievements with metrics based on these job responsibilities." 3️⃣ Make sure the metrics are accurate. AI is helpful, but don’t let it guess! Adjust as needed before adding them to your resume. 🔹 Cover Letter How to do it: 1️⃣ Copy/paste your resume in, along with the job description. 2️⃣ Use this prompt: "Write a cover letter using my resume and a job description." 3️⃣ Copy/paste the results into a document or email, then refine for a personal touch. 🚨 Pro Tip: I’m sure you know this, but always review and tailor your content for accuracy and authenticity. Founder & CEO at Teal - Empowering people to land great jobs and build fulfilling careers

If you’re waiting for your company to finally give you that big raise… you might be waiting forever.⏳ I’ve seen too many talented professionals stay in jobs where they’re underpaid—not because they’re not valuable, but because they don’t realize how much leverage they actually have. The real salary jumps don’t come from waiting. They come from knowing your options, being strategic, and putting yourself in the best position to grow. I care about this because everyone should have the confidence and tools to pursue better opportunities—whether that means a higher salary, better benefits, or more fulfilling work. Here are 5 underrated job-search moves that can help you land a higher-paying role in 2025: 1️⃣ Audit your market value every 6 months – Even if you’re not actively looking, knowing what you’re worth helps you negotiate better and avoid being underpaid. 2️⃣ Let AI do the heavy lifting on your resume – AI tools (like Teal) can help you tailor your resume instantly, so it matches what hiring managers are actually looking for. 3️⃣ Network before you apply – A warm application is always better. Connecting with people at your target company ahead of time gives you an edge. 4️⃣ Negotiate beyond salary – Bonuses, equity, flexible work, there’s more to compensation than just a number. Don't leave value on the table. 5️⃣ Track your applications like a pro – Keeping tabs on where you’ve applied, who you’ve talked to, and when to follow up keeps your job search moving forward. You don’t have to wait for a raise that might never come. Put yourself in control of your career growth. P.S. If you’re job searching, personalization is everything. Teal helps you create multiple versions of your resume to match each job description, so you always put your best foot forward.
