🌏 This week, our Tech Innovation Lead Lauren Tharp went to Taipei to speak on the Safe Digital Futures: Designing for Thriving Children’s Mental Health panel at #RightsCon2025. Lauren was joined by Isabelle S. (Global Youth-Led Movement on Ending Violence Against Children) and Dr Sandersan Onie (Black Dog Institute), with hosts Marija Manojlovic and Natalie Shoup (Safe Online). Together, they discussed the emerging risks and opportunities that technologies introduce for children and youth, as well as solutions that have worked to make the digital world safer for children. In particular, they discussed our Lantern program’s efficacy in combatting online child sexual exploitation and abuse. The panel strengthened our resolve to work together across industries to create a safer online world for children.
