We loved the vibrant discussion in this morning's "Harnessing AI as a force for good" workshop at #intix2025 led by Tessitura's John Jakovich and Mara H.. John and Mara explained the current landscape of #AI and the reasons behind its rapid growth, sharing use cases from #ArtsAndEntertainment organizations that leverage AI as an enhancer, explorer, or assistant across different aspects of their work. It was great to hear the conversations in the room about ways to invite AI to the table and how we can embrace experimentation. John will be back on stage tomorrow at 11:00 am as a panelist in the "Smart Ancillaries: Leveraging Technology for Balanced Growth" session.

This morning I was honored to give the opening welcome speech to the 46th Annual International Ticketing Association(INTIX) conference in NYC - their all-time biggest conference at more than 1,500 attendees! My topic was a favorite of mine: how live entertainment organizations can cultivate a sense of home 🏠 with their customers - leading to richer connections and a stronger organization. I shared stories from three Tessitura organizations that are doing this amazing work: Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse theatres, Ballet Austin and National Portrait Gallery (UK). Many thanks to Sarah Ogle FCIM, Cookie Ruiz, C.F.R.E. and Denise Vogelsang for once again letting me tell your stories. You are inspirations! I also shared a personal story from one of my own homes-away-from-home, Carnegie Hall where I began my career. I even got to name check my fellow Carnegie alum and good friend Matt Cooper - you can see a picture of us in the background when we were babies! Thank you to CEO Maureen Andersen for the invitation and putting your trust in me! ❤️ #intix #intix2025

#artsandculture is thriving at Tessitura organizations in the great State of Nebraska! 🌽 My first trip of 2025 finds us in Lincoln and Omaha (because it’s January 🧊 🤷🏻♂️) visiting member organizations. From the Lied Center that continues a robust live streaming program alongside a full in person season for audiences far and wide 🎥 To the Omaha Community Playhouse that is celebrating 100 years as a steadfast community-based theater that launched the careers of Henry Fonda to Norbert Leo Butz 🎭 To the Omaha Symphony continuing to see strong engagement for their variety of genres 🎶 To Omaha Performing Arts (O-Pa) that continues to amaze as they expand their campus in downtown, 3 buildings about to become 4 when they open their state-of-the-art education building next year 🖼️ 💃 🎼 As cold as it is outside, we all felt the warmth and heart of the robust cultural community in both cities. ❤️ Thanks to all our members for the welcomes, and to my fellow Tess road warriors for joining the fun John Jakovich Jenifer LaMorte Rebecca Sach Herberson Beth Dietzler Lauren Kusnierz
