Incredibly proud of Stern Business Academy student leadership in the success and impact of the Academy in its inaugural year! This is community of excellence in action.
This past Wednesday, the Stern Business Academy hosted its Spring Interest Meeting which marks the official launch of the Application Process for this semester. Our illustrious Executive Board Directors highlighted the origins of The Business Academy, the SBA mission, as well as our chapter's successful initiatives from last semester. It was amazing to have such a huge turnout of motivated SBA hopefuls at this interactive session and we look forward to another amazing semester!

It’s been a successful semester at the Stern Business Academy and we are proud to see the growth of our academy members. This fall we launched the second chapter of The Business Academy at NYU Stern aiming provide a professional network for Black and Brown students. We kicked off the academy with 50+ interested students who have grown immensely throughout the semester. At the academy success is a reality, not a dream!

Our semester started off with a professional development series! Academy members delved into Résumé writing, where The Business Academy alumni shared words of wisdom with the group and provided expert feedback on their résumés. We’d like to thank David Rosenstein and Dr. Victor C. Mullins for coordinating a LinkedIn 101 workshop. Our students learned how to optimize their LinkedIn pages and curate an authentic professional presence online. Our Networking 101 workshop taught academy member how to build meaningful relationships. We ended our professional development series with a Casing Workshop led by Deloitte consultants. Thank you to Aman Kakkad and Ariella Reuben for sharing your expertise with the academy.
