Boston Globe Media was thrilled to win an Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences at the 45th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards for best crime and justice documentary, “Murder in Boston: Roots, Rampage, Reckoning,” on the Charles Stuart case. The three-part series was presented by HBO in association with the Globe and produced and directed by Jason Hehir of Little Room Films. The award-winning documentary was rooted in reporting by Globe journalists for the “Nightmare in Mission Hill” series, as well as the accompanying “Murder in Boston” podcast.
