NAIOP's Development Magazine recently spotlighted New & Noteworthy commercial and residential real estate projects to keep an eye out for across the country. Among those named was Midtown East, our 430,000-square-foot Class A office space under development at Midtown Tampa. Together with Highwoods Properties, we’re creating an innovative, sustainable, highly amenitized office space designed to support the needs of today’s office workers. The tower will be completed in early 2025, adding to our dynamic residential and commercial district within the city of Tampa.

We were thrilled to host KHAITE for the brand's NYFW SS 25 fashion show at 122 Fifth Avenue last week. KHAITE, an iconic fashion house that reimagines classic American sportswear for the twenty-first century, was the perfect match for our newly transformed mixed-use building in Union Square, making it an ideal venue to showcase their innovative new line. Designers, models, and top industry professionals came together to celebrate creativity within our reimagined mixed-use building centrally located in Union Square. 

In honor of National Black & White Cookie Day on September 14 and 15, our award-winning tenant at 122 Fifth Avenue Levain Bakery will celebrate with its limited edition Black & White Chocolate Chip Cookie available at all New York City bakeries (and all bakeries across the country!). Originally launched as an exclusive offering at the 122 Fifth Avenue location in Flatiron, the cookie quickly became a fan favorite with its dark cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and creamy white chocolate chunks, a nod to the bakery’s NYC roots. Come by 122 Fifth this weekend to check out the limited edition sweet treat before it’s too late!

Vuori is officially open at 120 Fifth! The global performance apparel retailer opened its third Manhattan storefront in the Union Square/Flatiron neighborhood in late August, joining locations in SoHo and the Upper East Side. Vuori has become part of the flourishing retail and restaurant haven within the area, including the best-in-class ground-floor retail across 120 and 122 Fifth – luxury bedding brand Parachute Home, jewelry manufacturer and retailer Pandora, award-winning bakery Levain Bakery and a soon-to-be-announced wellness center with saunas, cold plunges and IV drips. We’re so excited to welcome them into our growing community.

Bromley Vice President of Operations Chris MacArthur and Senior Vice President of Construction and Development Roy Vice recently caught up with Commercial Property Executive to give a glimpse behind the curtain at 122 Fifth Avenue’s $100 million restoration. Originally designed in 1899 by prolific Ladies’ Mile Architect Robert Maynicke, 122 Fifth Avenue is an 11-story office building enveloped with history. After acquiring the Union Square building in 1979, Bromley worked with landmark consultant HIGGINS QUASEBARTH & PARTNERS LLC to preserve the historical importance of the building while still meeting the modern needs of today’s office and retail tenants. The 300,000-square-foot mixed-use building underwent a thoughtful vertical and horizontal expansion and restoration, introducing an enhanced tenant experience with an unbeatable location, advanced technology, ample rooftop terrace and garden space, and best-in-class ground-floor retailers. When we completed the restoration of this Flatiron District landmark last year, we partnered with Nantum AI's award-winning AI platform to automate energy usage and environmental systems with real-time occupancy data- a program that is already saving energy and reducing emissions. Designed by Rule Joy Trammell Rubio, Midtown East, our new office building at Midtown Tampa that officially topped out last month, stands out not only as the tallest building in the metro’s Westshore district, but also through its innovative, sustainable design. The 18-story tower will offer an ideal workplace for today’s office tenants with covered outdoor terraces, smart energy management systems, adaptable floor plans and immediate access to our 23-acre mixed-use campus, complete with open-air public spaces and experiential restaurants and retailers. Our CEO Nicholas Haines recently sat down with Commercial Property Executive to offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the project set to be completed in 2025:

This milestone was made possible by the innovative, sustainable features deployed at 122 Fifth, including Nantum AI, a software that uses artificial intelligence to automate building systems with real-time occupancy data, utilizing the least amount of energy to provide the maximum amount of indoor comfort.
