More than 30 attendees from our community enjoyed an evening filled with incredible flavors crafted by the talented Douglas Cox, known for his culinary artistry and unique approach to seasonal ingredients. Chef Cox treated us to an exceptional menu that celebrated the best of summer’s bounty, bringing the Hamptons vibe into the heart of #NYC. On September 21st we held the 2024 Dermot Amazing Race where we brought together 22 teams of residents from across our New York portfolio for an unforgettable adventure through the boroughs of NYC, all competing for the coveted rent credit grand prize! Teams faced a series of physical and mental challenges, relying solely on the supplies given to them in their race day “go bags” - no phones or wallets. The energy was electric as everyone strategized and collaborated to complete the challenges and win the race. Thank you to all who participated and made this event a success! We were overwhelmed by the support of our Dermot Company volunteers who helped execute the logistics of the race, the tenacity and dedication of our amazing racers, and the support of the Dermot residents who cheered on their peers. #ICYMI Charlie Albor, VP Property Operations, was honored as The Dermot Company’s Most Valuable Professional of Q2 2024. Congratulations, Charlie!    Charlie Albor joined Dermot in 2016 as General Manager of 250 East Houston. During his tenure, he has successfully managed four buildings (250 E Houston, The Landon, 21 West End and The Landing) in Dermot’s portfolio as General Manager. He now oversees operations for seven properties as Vice President, Property Operations. A leader both in operations and company culture, Charlie heads the culture team, fostering a positive work experience for all.     Thank you, Charlie, for your incredible leadership, innovative ideas, and contagiously positive attitude.    We asked Charlie what his favorite thing about being part of Team Dermot is. Today, our Florida teams joined forces to give back to the community! In partnership with VolunteerCleanup.Org we took to Dania Beach in South Florida to clear trash and debris along the coastline. Together, we successfully removed 104 pounds of waste, helping to keep Florida’s beaches beautiful.
