Student parents in California face unique challenges as they balance school, work, and family—but gaps in data collection practices mean their experiences are often overlooked. The California Alliance for Student Parent Success, led by California Competes and EdTrust-West, recently introduced The California Student Parents Almanac, which sheds light on California's student parents. Read the almanac to learn about the demographics, academic experiences, financial situations, and barriers student parents in the state face in accessing and completing their education.
