First Boston Capital Partners, an affiliate of The Grossman Companies, extends private loans to builders, developers and real estate investors in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. We provide short-term bridge capital for acquisitions, ground-up construction or renovations secured by non-owner-occupied residential or commercial properties.

You want to hear the story of why Marriott International carries PepsiCo products? I had the pleasure of attending Cornell Real Estate Council’s Cornell Real Estate Confernce last week in NYC. During Anthony Capuano’s Keynote, Tony shared the following on why Marriott carries Pepsi products today at their hotels: In the early 1990s Marriott was in financial distress and at the time carried Coca-Cola products. In an effort to save his company, Bill Marriott called the CEO of Coca-Cola to ask for a $50M loan. The CEO didn’t think Marriott would make it and declined… Mr. Marriott then called the CEO of Pepsi to explain the situation and to which he replied where do I wire the money? Marriott made it through tough times and to this day carries Pepsi products at their hotels. During 2018, Marriott renewed their Pepsi contract for 20 more years. Take care of your customers and they’ll take care of you.
