The Johnson Development communities of Sienna, Cross Creek Ranch and Jordan Ranch ranked among the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities on the annual RCLCO Real Estate Consulting mid-year report. Sienna was ranked at number 26, with 310 new-home sales during the first six months of 2024, on-target to surpass the 600 that were sold in 2023. With 222 sales, Cross Creek Ranch is ranked 46th. Jordan Ranch is tied for 49th, with 211 sales from January through June. Year after year, people are drawn to Sienna — the largest community in Fort Bend County —  because of the great variety of homes, numerous onsite schools and other conveniences and lavish amenities that include water parks, fitness centers, tennis and pickleball courts, playgrounds, trails and more. Newly opened in the community are the Sawmill Event Pavilion and Sawmill Beach Club, both perched along the shores of Sawmill Lake. Builders have opened more than 30 model homes in the community, where homes are priced from the $300,000s to more than $1 million. Cross Creek Ranch in Fulshear continues to be a top-selling community even as it nears close-out. Homes have been selling briskly there as buyers don’t want to miss a chance for a new home in this perennially favorite community. Onsite schools, numerous lakes and waterways, pools, sports courts, playgrounds and more add to the appeal. Cross Creek Ranch is also known for its environmentally sensitive development, including the Polishing Pond, which naturally filters water for reuse in the development, and the restoration of Flewellen Creek, which has been transformed into a meandering 2-mile waterway and wildlife habitat. New this year is The Landing, a lakeside recreation complex that features a pool, clubhouse, in-the-water playground, tennis/pickleball courts, playground and open space. Fewer than 170 opportunities remain for a new home in Cross Creek Ranch, with pricing from the $300,000s. Jordan Ranch is also in Fulshear, about a mile south of Interstate 10. Like its sister communities, Jordan Ranch boasts a generous array of amenities, with a pool, lazy river, clubhouse, fitness center, playgrounds, tennis courts and more. Residents also enjoy access to Sunset Farm, which has a farm stand open Saturdays. The community’s lifestyle director often partners with the onsite farmers to host events at Sunset Farm, including harvesting days and family-friendly festivals. Home buyers have a broad choice in Jordan Ranch, where nine builders offer homes priced from the $300,000s to more than $1 million. Harvest Green, Houston area's first "Agri-hood," was recently showcased on ABC 13’s LOCALish program. The feature highlighted our Village Farm and Farm Club, where residents can rent a plot to grow their own produce. Another amenity center has opened in a Johnson Development community. The Waterhole is now open in Cross Creek West in Fulshear, Texas. This new facility features a freeform pool, a lap pool, a children's water play park, tennis and pickleball courts, a playground, a fitness center, and an event lawn. The amenity list in our Fort Bend County Sienna community is growing — particularly along Sawmill Lake — with the opening the Sawmill Event Pavilion earlier this year and the Sawmill Beach Club in May. Situated near the Sawmill Lake Club, the 3,841-square-foot covered pavilion features a ballroom that opens onto patios with views of Sawmill Lake, a smaller meeting room, and a kitchen with a 10-foot island. Large-screen wall-mounted televisions add to the pavilion’s versatility. Additionally, a lakeside boardwalk connects the clubhouse to the pavilion, extending to an outdoor patio with tables and chairs, adjacent to a new food truck parking area. Close by, the new Sawmill Beach Club offers beach sand areas, a shade cabana, a pavilion, and shaded patios. With chaise loungers and various seating areas, it accommodates both small and large gatherings. A volleyball court with a shaded viewing area is also available. These new facilities complement the extensive amenities in Sienna, including water parks, pools, tennis and pickleball courts, playgrounds, a lakeside amphitheater, miles of trails, and numerous sports fields at Camp Sienna.

Cross Creek Ranch reached a significant milestone last week by closing the final builder lot in the community. Johnson Development acquired Cross Creek Ranch from Trendmaker Homes in 2008, and since then, 5,054 builder lots have been sold. We are extremely proud of what Cross Creek Ranch has become and the lasting impact it will continue to have in Fulshear, Texas. We expect the community to be fully completed by mid-2025. The remaining builders are Highland Homes, Newmark Homes, Tri Pointe Homes, Perry Homes, Lennar, and Taylor Morrison, along with our Bonterra 55+ community.
