Exciting days ahead for Providence Healthcare!
𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 I joined Providence in 2016 because I felt a deep personal calling to the organization’s Mission, values and promise. With humility I express my appreciation to the Board of Directors and Sponsors Council for having the confidence in me to become Providence’s next President and CEO, and to Rod Hochman, M.D. for his 17 years of leadership in our organization. He and I recently discussed this transition, and I’m pleased to share part of that conversation here. It is an honor to be chosen to serve and lead the Providence family of organizations as we work through the transition for the remainder of the year. I draw inspiration from our compassionate physicians, clinicians and caregivers across the seven states we serve and extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Every day, you live our Mission, values and promise through your steadfast commitment to improving the health of our communities. Providence’s legacy goes back nearly 170 years, and I will preserve our rich tradition of service relentlessly. It is our north star as we respond to the signs of the times and transform health care in ways that allow us to keep serving all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable. With deep gratitude to all of you, we will unlock the full potential of health for a better world!

This week he set out to Rosarita Mexico with a team to construct 6 house for families in need of housing. Being generous with our time and resources is at the core of who The Stahl Companies has been and will continue to be.

Seismic compliance remains the chief topic in California Healthcare Design & Construction for almost 30 years.
Seventy-three of the 93 hospital campuses in Los Angeles County have not yet met the mandate that all acute-care facilities must be deemed capable of remaining fully operational following a major earthquake by 2030.
