🌿 Last week, the TKC leadership team gathered in Massachusetts, for a retreat filled with collaboration, creativity, and culinary magic! Executive Director Katie Welch, Director of Research Dr. Jennifer Massa, Director of Membership & Programs Allison Righter, and Director of Operations Margaret Counts-Klebe came together to work on key TKC initiatives and special projects. As a team bonding activity, they prepared a delicious meal using, TKC Corporate Member, Barilla Group's Family Lasagna Roll-ups from our TKC Recipe Portal! These freshly made meals were donated to The Food Drive, a dedicated food rescue and hunger relief nonprofit based in Melrose, Massachusetts. 🔪🍅 It was great to reconnect in person and share our passion for delicious, nutritious food and community impact! #teachingkitchens #nutritioneducation #teambonding #teamretreat #culinarymedicine

At Teaching Kitchen Collaborative, we seek to answer the question, “What can we do together that we cannot do on our own?”.  Here are some of the ways TKC Professional and Organization Members have answered that question through their 2023 impact: - Organization Members reached 86,309 participants through in-person and virtual classes. - In August 2023, TKC was proud to submit an invitation-only Commitment to President Biden’s Challenge to End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities. - TKC continued to lead the charge in expanding teaching kitchen-related programming through innovative webinars, co-created tools, and more!
