We’re excited to introduce you to Writer’s Block Bookstore, a bookstore featured in our REEL ORLANDO series that highlights small local businesses. Writer's Block, found in Winter Park and Winter Garden, is a safe haven for curious minds and casual readers, fostering a vibrant community through literary events and their passionate staff. Joann Mauricette and Jordan Wasylak directed this project with enthusiasm and a strong creative vision, bringing the vibrancy of the store to the screen. Abi Nielson Hunsaker did a stellar job producing and ensuring the crews' needs were met every step of the way! The film's Director of Photography, Santiago Leunda, was accompanied by camera operators/ACs Kevin Garcia and Tristan Owen. The bookstore's passionate staff and beautiful displays came to life through their artistic framing, with help from AC Eric Gutierrez. As always, Lee Adkison lit the interviews wonderfully and Kimani Shabazz expertly recorded audio on set. Jordan Gerber took the vision and made it a reality with his efficient editing. Gaby Villafuerte Mantia (sound mix/design) and Cristian Omar Jimenez (color) elevated the film with finishing touches! And, last but not least, Jorge Monge created thoughtful animations to add a whimsical and fun feel to the film. We also thank Elerie Rosengarten and Estephanie Ortiz for capturing the fun moments on set. We couldn't have done it without the incredible support of our team at Adrenaline Films and the amazing Writer's Block Bookstore! A huge thank you to their staff for believing in our vision and providing the perfect backdrop for this journey. Watch here: https://lnkd.in/e_7pgtEd

Last month we had a great time hosting AAF Orlando’s program series, Screen Society, at Adrenaline Films. Attendees interacted with on-site staff in workshops around the building, networked with local creatives, and listened to the panel highlighting the film and advertising industry in Orlando. In addition to our partnership with AAF Orlando, we were privileged to work with Oxenfree Film & Motion, Women in Film & Television - Florida (WIFT-FL), and Vu Technologies as sponsors. Thank you to our Adrenaline event committee for bringing it to life! Martin Olarte spearheaded this event as co-chair of the AAF Film Committee, working with Julie Meyer, Jordan Wasylak, Abi Nielson Hunsaker and Lee Adkison to create a chill and cozy atmosphere in our production stage and coordinate our participating staff. Thank you to those who participated in the Adrenaline Films interactive tour! Editors David Matthews (who also ensured we had awesome visuals throughout the building) and Dave Harrison showcased our editing suites, Kyle Tesalona featured our audio mixing capabilities, Lee Adkison and Kevin Garcia showcased versatile set-ups in our insert stage, while Val Cotto and Joann Mauricette answered questions in our equipment room. Wes Hall did a fantastic job capturing video BTS, bringing the interactions to life. And thank you to our talented panelists! Martin Olarte, Abi Nielson Hunsaker, Kevin Garcia, and Michael Germano (who also totally set the vibe with his DJing). There will be more to come, so follow to stay up-to-date on the latest networking opportunities in Orlando!

For this April Fool's, Joann Mauricette pitched the awesome idea of rebranding to an energy drink for the day. Why not? We have Adrenaline in the name after all. From that was born a fun and creative campaign: ADRENALINE RUSH. Joann headed up the project and together with Jordan Wasylak and Abi Nielson Hunsaker conceptualizing the product, three flavors were born: Swamp Water, Citrus Coaster, and Survivor's Guilt – references to past shows and projects. Next entered GFX wizard Jorge Monge, who took the direction and mood boards, making the abstract into reality, with the help of motion graphics intern Dorvin Gonzalez Colon. Building the visuals for a brand requires a lot of assets: at least a logo, icon, banner, and product designs, and that's not including all the animations for the video! That's right, those cans were shaped from the ether by Jorge's hands. After working their magic, the animations were passed off to amazing editor Samantha Soriano who interpreted Joann's script and storyboards into a snappy, genre-matching video; complete with voice over from our very own Val Cotto, recorded by Kimani Shabazz. Finished off with some brilliant copy and design for the static post from our social media intern Elerie Rosengarten, and we've got ourselves a rebrand! A huge thank you to the crew for pulling this together, we're overflowing with talent here!! Watch the video on our Instagram or YouTube.
