SHOCKING: Did I just unearth the TRUTH about natural diamonds? 🤔 💎 I had an incredible time working with Tracr and Wesley Tucker highlighting the incredible technological advancements in the natural diamond industry. Blockchain technology and origin are critical components for the future of the natural diamond industry. Together we are able to empower consumers like never before. As we battle misinformation online it is critical to share the natural diamond story through the platforms like Tracr. Let me know your thoughts! Did you know diamonds could be traced to the source? Part II: Real or Fake 🧐 💎 In a world filled with misconceptions about diamonds, it's vital to shed light on the real benefits they bring to Botswana and its people. In Part II of our Real vs. Fake series I had the honor of speaking with His Excellency President Masisi of the Government of Botswana, at JCK. Watch as we continue our successful series "Real or Fake?" and set the record straight. Curious to know what’s Real and what’s Fake? Watch the video now and join the conversation! Also head to our page and watch part I with Al Cook, CEO of De Beers Group Your engagement and thoughts are invaluable as we strive to educate the consumer and dispel harmful misinformation online. Do Consumers Care About Diamond Origin? It is a complicated question! The first stage for the industry is to educate consumers about where diamonds come from, the incredible benefits they bring to producer countries, and why origin matters. At The Clear Cut we are proud to be leaders in telling the natural diamond story to the consumer. Great article by Joshua Freedman highlighting the Rapaport / JCK panel where I spoke about origin alongside Wesley Tucker from Tracr, David Block from Sarine Technologies, Johanna Levy from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and Saville Stern Exciting times ahead! As part of an initiative it began testing last spring, The Clear Cut has begun offering a two-carat round lab-grown diamond for free with the purchase of any mined diamond ring. It’s an evolution of a service the brand already provided, offering customers a free cubic zirconia replica of their ring to wear while traveling so their real diamond ring can remain safe from theft or loss. Thanks to the falling price of lab-grown diamonds, The Clear Cut can now offer real diamonds as a free travel replacement for all of its rings, according to the company. #diamonds

🎉 Exciting News from The Clear Cut! 🎉 I am thrilled to share that we recently hosted an incredible event, GIA Day, in partnership with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), the foremost leaders in diamond education. We welcomed media for an in-depth crash course covering the four Cs of diamonds, the history of diamonds, and techniques to distinguish natural diamonds from lab-grown. Representatives from Vogue, ELLE Magazine, Good Morning America, Hearst and several others attended. Our collaboration with GIA underscores our commitment to transparency and education in the diamond industry. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) has always had a special place in my heart as it is were Kyle E. Simon and I first met. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Nellie Barnett along with her team at GIA (Gemological Institute of America) for their expertise and support. Together, we're paving the way for a more informed and discerning generation of diamond enthusiasts.

At this year’s JCK Las Vegas I had the honor of working with the House of Botswana and interviewing heads of state and CEOs including His Excellency Mokgweetsi Masisi President of Botswana and Al Cook CEO of De Beers Group and Wesley Tucker CEO of Tracr to discuss the future of natural diamonds. Reflecting on the show I am more confident than ever in The Clear Cut’s Roadmap for the natural diamond industry, which we outlined earlier this year: (1) Partner with Diamond Producing Nations: It is time to champion the stories of nations like Botswana. The general public remains oblivious to the incredible development and equity that diamonds have fostered. Platforms such as Tracr will play a critical role in telling that story. (2) Digitization: The industry needs to digitize and do so quickly. When we started The Clear Cut we had to build a tremendous amount of custom software. It was eye opening to see the amount of business done on pen + paper and handshakes. Today’s consumer is online. We must meet our clients there. (3) Educate the Public: The misinformation and ignorance around diamonds in America is shocking. We started The Clear Cut as an educational blog to empower the next generation of consumers. The entire industry must come together and speak with one voice. As the fourth generation diamantaire (and soon to be mom) I am so excited to play a small part in creating an even more brilliant future for the next generation 💎✨
