The PWHL has been named the Sports Business Journal Sports Breakthrough of the Year! We are deeply grateful for our leadership, staff, players, partners, and amazing fans who have come together to break records in attendance, viewership, social engagement and partnerships throughout our inaugural season. “There are more than 200 employees who aren’t able to be with us tonight, each of whom took a bet,” Billie Jean King said during her acceptance speech. “This award is a significant achievement for hockey, and women’s sports. And on a personal note, I’ve waited my entire life for moments like this..." Thank you Sports Business Journal for this incredible honor. We are just getting started! 📰 bit.ly/4bLi2ye
