Congratulations to Brother Alex Stockman from Beta Chapter for being recognized as the 2024 Robert E. Pope Outstanding Student Member. This is Beta Chapter's second consecutive OSM winner. The Robert E. Pope Outstanding Student Member Award is the Fraternity's highest honor for a student member. Each chapter selects their own Outstanding Student Member, who is then automatically nominated for the national award. The Grand Regent then selects a winner from among the chapter nominees. Brother Alex Stockman (Beta, '23) has shown extraordinary dedication to, and leadership of, Beta chapter, becoming a nationally recognizable name for his work at Beta, and at the numerous regional and national events he has attended. Please join the Fraternity in congratulating Brother Stockman on all of his achievements!

Congratulations to Kathryn Cogar (Pi Gamma, '21) for being recognized as Theta Tau's Volunteer of the Year. This award is given to a volunteer who has performed their role to an exceptionally high standard. As Southeast Regional Director, Katie has singlehandedly led one of the Fraternity's largest regions, driving results for some of our largest, oldest and most successful chapters. She has come at every challenge with unwavering enthusiasm and grit. Her problem solving skills highlight the engineering mindset we strive to uphold and her heart for Theta Tau is unquestionable. Please join us in congratulating Katie! #thetatau #rahrah

Last weekend, Tobyn Thibodeau and I represented the Theta Tau - Lambda Gamma Chapter at the biannual Theta Tau Leadership Academy! It was so wonderful to meet brothers from so many different chapters all over the country while participating in the exciting talks and breakouts throughout the weekend. We learned about everything from the importance of our personal values as leaders, to presentation skills, to different types of conflict resolution. It was particularly special to be able to accept the award for “Best Social Media Presence” on behalf of our chapter. Thank you to the brothers of Theta Tau Nu Delta Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh for hosting us, and all of the National Officers that worked hard to put this together! It was so great to get to further explore Pittsburgh with my brothers. Rah rah!

This month, I had the opportunity to attend the Theta Tau Leadership Academy at University of Pittsburgh. Myself and other attendees learned about and practiced facilitation, conflict resolution, how to incorporate personal values in a team, and more. I also got to meet brothers and alumni from across the country, including our national executive council. The event was so fun and I can’t wait to share and apply these lessons with my chapter!
