On the weekend of August 23rd, Titan Florida in South Miami served 10K cubic yard pour for the real estate developer Related Group for the Baccarat Residences Miami. This historic concrete pour, executed by Ceco Concrete Construction L.L.C., spanned 30 hours through 3 shifts, beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday and continuing uninterrupted until 2 a.m. on Sunday. 5 ready-mix plants, over 220 trucks, and 150 drivers per shift were used. An average of 330 yards per hour of concrete was poured. The operation was expertly overseen by the general contractor John Moriarty & Associates of Florida, Inc (JMA), with support from FLORIDA CONCRETE UNLIMITED, GANCEDO LUMBER CO , B&J Consulting Engineers, NV5, and Titan America. #Concrete #Cement #Construction #Titan #TitanFlorida #RelatedGroup #Miami #BaccaratResidencesMiami #Teamwork

Another step towards #netzero! 🌍🌱 Titan America is proud to be actively involved in the South Florida Climate Ready Tech Hub, which has been awarded $19.5 million in #funding from the US Department of Commerce to scale up #lowcarbon #concrete, enhance #3Dprinting, and advance #sustainableinfrastructure in #Miami, Florida, USA. In partnership with Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami, this funding will propel our joint mission to lead the industry’s #transformation through sustainable and innovative #technologies for a more sustainable future.   The funding was announced by Miami-Dade Mayor Levine Cava and Assistant Commerce Secretary Alejandra Y. Castillo at the FIU engineering and computing campus. The announcement followed a tour at the Titan America “Structures and Construction Testing Laboratory”, where our guests observed ultra-high performance concrete made with Titan low-carbon cement Type IL and aggregates. The newly established South Florida Climate Ready Tech Hub aims to scale advanced concrete technologies, establish workforce development programs, and foster collaboration among government, climate justice advocates, startups, corporations, capital partners, and academia. #TitanGroup #Sustainablegrowth #GreenGrowthStrategy2026 #collaboration #climateaction
