This past week we broke ground on the new 232,000 square foot Axia Business Park. This Class A warehouse is strategically located looking out over the Point of the Mountain at 15880 South Redwood Road in Herriman, central to both Salt Lake & Utah County. With 36 ft clear height, 260 ft building depth, reinforced concrete slab, 30 dock high doors/6 drive in doors & 4000 amp/480 volt/3 phase power, this is the most significant commercial space under construction in Utah. Demand for industrial space remains strong with low vacancy & our market benefiting from its favorable location and economic fundamentals. This project will likely be the only new building of significance to break ground in the near term, due to interest rates & more conservative lending. Thrilled to share some exciting news about the first signed lease at the Steelworks Industrial Development in Centerville, UT! Paul Davis Restoration will be running their operation in a space spanning over 100,000 SF, which will help them meet new efficiencies and create a greater presence for their clients. Huge shoutout to Brandon Wood at the Northwood Group who represented the Tenant in this transaction. I’m immensely grateful for his strategic approach, attention to detail, and seamless communication. This deal doesn’t happen without him. Big thanks to my partner Ashley Allred for helping on all the details, and for the Landlord team at Stokes Stevenson (Sam Nelson, Bryan Stevenson, Travis Lish) for letting us be a part of this exciting development right here in my backyard.
