  • TPA was absolutely thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Whitaker Park, a new cornerstone of community life in the City of Buena Park, earlier this month! TPA was honored to secure $3,190,543 from the Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program, administered by the California Department of Parks and Recreation, to transform this vision into a reality. This project has transformed Whitaker Park into a vibrant space featuring new recreational facilities, enhanced green spaces, and amenities designed for everyone—families, kids, and seniors alike. From playgrounds and picnic areas to sports courts and walking trails, this park is a place where the community can come together, stay active, and create lasting memories. Congratulations to all involved in turning this project into a thriving community asset! TPA is proud to have secured critical funding for the City's project and we are excited to continue to dedicate ourselves to improving communities across California.

💥 TPA is absolutely THRILLED to celebrate this monumental grant achievement on behalf of Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT)! 💥 Working alongside SacRT, TPA has helped secure $76,847,678 in competitive funding from the Low or No Emissions Grant Program administered by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). This significant funding, which is the third highest award in this major grant category across the nation, will enable SacRT to acquire 29 hydrogen fuel cell buses, modernize their bus maintenance facility at McClellan Business Park, and launch a comprehensive workforce development program. This initiative is a critical step towards SacRT's goal of converting its entire bus fleet to zero emissions by 2040, improving air quality and service reliability in Sacramento. Additionally, SacRT has secured local funding, bringing the total project amount to approximately $102 million. This project will lead to the construction of the first hydrogen fueling facility in the capital region, benefiting disadvantaged communities in northern Sacramento by 2028. A huge congratulations to the SacRT team for their dedication and hard work. We would also like to thank TPA Director Eric Thronson for all of his hard work on this project! We are honored to support SacRT in its mission to be a leader in California mobility.
