Thank you to Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT)'s Chief of Regulatory Compliance Nick P. for highlighting the important role Jacksonville plays in the Puerto Rico trade during yesterday's Propeller Club - Port of Jacksonville Executive Spotlight luncheon. We are proud to share a strong bond with our partners at JAXPORT and the Puerto Rico Ports Authority to ensure consistent, weekly service to and from the island. Trailer Bridge was founded to serve our neighbors on the island and we are committed to being a strong partner for many years to come. #PuertoRico
JAXPORT Chief of Regulatory Compliance Nick P. discussed current shipping industry trends during today's sold-out Propeller Club - Port of Jacksonville Executive Spotlight luncheon. Primrose explained how upcoming changes in ocean carrier alliances are increasing port connections and creating new trade lanes for Jacksonville. New port connections support the growth of our transportation partners and the jobs and economic impact their businesses provide. "We are proud to serve as an economic engine for our city and state, supporting 207,000 Florida jobs and $33 billion in economic impact," Primrose said. "Together, Florida's seaports support 900,000 jobs and $117 billion in economic value - this equates to 13% of Florida's Gross Domestic Product." Primrose also provided updates on JAXPORT's major growth initiatives, which are expanding capacity for containers, vehicles, and non-containerized cargo. Thank you, Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville, for hosting today's event.

We love to 'Make it Happen' for all in our community - including our furry and four-legged friends! Trailer Bridge recently donated the transportation cost of a 53' container to the Humane Society of Puerto Rico to help them deliver hay for their animals. This is just one small way we can support our neighbors on the island. Learn more about the nonprofit and its mission at https://bit.ly/4f1laYO.

We Make Breakbulk Moves Happen! Trailer Bridge recently helped facilitate the movement of this oversized electrical turbine to Puerto Rico on our roll-on, roll-off barge supporting the ongoing efforts to restore sustainable energy on the island. The piece was trucked to the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) by our partners, ATS International, where it was transferred to a mafi trailer for the ocean portion of its transport. Connect with a member of our team to discuss how we can support your overdimensional shipping needs to and from the island. #Breakbulk #Shipping #Oversized #Overweight #PuertoRico
