"If Not Me, Then Who..."

About us

Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans and survivors continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes live on in the next generation.

Last week, the Trenton, FL community came together to remember and honor their hometown hero, Sgt. Richard Lord. With over 70 plants placed throughout downtown and a truckload of trash collected, the community truly shined. Rosanna Powers, Sgt. Lord's late fiancée, shared, "There are no words that can express my gratitude for all who showed up today... We had fellowship, stories, and time well spent together." Rosanna continues to step up in her community, turning her grief into impact and ensuring Sgt. Lord's legacy lives on. A special shoutout to the Marines who served with Sgt. Lord, traveling from California just to join them. Your presence added a profound significance to the day. #IfNotMeThenWho #TrentonFL #CommunityService #HonorAndRemember #HeroesLiveOn

Today, we honor the memory of SSG Damion G. Campbell, who made the ultimate sacrifice 19 years ago. Damion was a testament to the value of honesty, living it everyday. Donna, Damion's mom, shares a moment when he came home on leave. It felt too short, so she joked, 'Just tell them your mom needs you to stay longer.' Without missing a beat, Damion said, 'Mom, I can’t do that. I have to go back.' That’s the son he was—honorable and committed. Donna keeps Damion’s spirit alive through her active involvement in the TMF community. From Atlanta and Texas Expeditions to Back to School events and mentoring as a Character Does Matter mentor, her dedication shines. Today, we honor Damion’s memory and celebrate Donna’s unwavering commitment to his legacy. #IfNotMeThenWho #NeverForget
