Check out the U.S. Democracy Day reporting collaborative this weekend! Participating newsrooms want their audiences to feel confident participating in democracy, whether that’s voting at the polls, explaining to a new neighbor how the school board works, or simply discussing current events. Democracy Day is a nationwide journalism collaborative meant to bring attention to gaps in American democracy, the context they exist in, and what’s being done to fix them.
