Yoga therapy and meditation can be immensely helpful for cancer patients before, during and after treatment. It can help alleviate side effects from chemotherapy and reduce pain. Our integrative health experts partnered with the Osher Center for Integrative Health at the University of California, San Francisco to develop a virtual library so that patients, survivors and caregivers can easily access helpful tools from anywhere. Our newly opened Flex ICU is the first inpatient facility of its kind in the country. In this innovative space, our dedicated team of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care trained interventionists will care for the region's most critically ill patients. Close proximity to our emergency department ensures high-priority transfers receive swift and seamless care in this advanced unit. The Flex ICU also features a unique Donor Care Unit, in partnership with LifeCenter, to aid in the success of organ donations and to honor the wishes of a recipient and their loved ones.
