More than 100 volunteers from the Rotary Club of Cincinnati, the Joe Burrow Foundation and UC Health packed 14,000 nonperishable breakfast meals for UC Health's Food is Medicine Program during the Rotary Do Days! A special thank you to Mayor Aftab Pureval for joining us and issuing a proclamation to officially launch this year’s initiative. These meals will provide essential support to families facing food insecurity across our communities. UC Health’s Food is Medicine program screens patients for food insecurity during visits to their primary care provider. Those who need support can immediately access an in-office food pantry stocked with pantry staples and hygiene items, and they receive vouchers for fresh produce.
