The First Year Free Scholarship allows our pharmacy students to begin their education without first-year tuition costs, easing financial burdens and allowing them to focus on their studies. Brandon D. Ostler, a College of Pharmacy student, shares, “Growing up, money was tight, and my family struggled when my father needed open-heart surgery. These experiences taught me the importance of support and inspired me to help others. Offered in partnership with the Emily Jerry Foundation and partially supported by the ASHP Foundation Henri R. Manasse Legacy Fund, the program's goals are to educate and develop the leadership skills of the next generation of pharmacists. Congratulations to all our Researchers for a significant jump in American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)'s annual research funding award rankings 🎉! Data from over 100 pharmacy schools and colleges nationwide is compiled to determine funding ranks, which revealed that Utah leapfrogged 5 places in both NIH Grants and Total Extramural Grants in 2023, to #7 and #11 respectively.
