Being actively engaged in important community issues is one of our Guiding Principles, and our Zions Bankers take the mandate to heart. Kudos to our Retail Support team for volunteering at the Utah Food Bank and the Catholic Community Services of Utah Food Pantry, providing more than 40 hours of volunteer work. And a shout out to Metro Salt Lake Region President Stephanie Sherrell and her team for assisting at the new The Road Home Medically Vulnerable People (MVP) Shelter. With support from volunteer program supervisor Haylee Allen, the team organized and hosted a Halloween party for residents with crafts, treats and entertainment by Landon Ward, who harmonized with Michael M. Hanson on a couple songs.   Retal Banking Operations manager Kaylynn Irsik noted that due to the nature of the Retail Support department’s role, employees typically don’t have the opportunity to participate in community service activities. “This is the first time we were able to arrange opportunities for Retail Support employees to provide support for our community,” Irsik says. “As you can see from the pictures everyone was in such positive spirits and had big smiles on their faces.
