We have some VERY exciting news ... Jubilee was awarded a $992,000 Promise Neighborhoods Grant from the U.S. Department of Education! This historic grant—the first-ever in Dallas and the first in Texas in over a decade—will fund the Jubilee Park Promise Neighborhood Initiative (PNI). Over the next two years, we will focus on education, workforce readiness, and community growth, helping Jubilee youth navigate one of the most pivotal times in their lives and bridge the opportunity gap in post-secondary education. “This is the kind of initiative that transforms a city. Over the past few weeks we’ve been collecting items for the Change 1 Thanksgiving celebration here in Dallas to spread some joy to a group of outstanding young adults. UWorlders did not disappoint and we were able to collect hundreds of items and put together over 20 boxes full of essential winter items and plenty of fun surprises, too!
